Double row tapered roller bearings are specialized rolling-element bearings featuring two rows of tapered rollers arranged side-by-side to support very heavy radial loads and bidirectional axial loads simultaneously.
Inner ring and outer ring can be integral or separable according to model selection.Precision grades cover P0,P6,P5 and P4.Inner diameter ranges from 150 mm to 1778 mm,outer diameter spans 210 mm to 2159 mm and width dimension varies from 86 mm to 393.7 mm.
Bearing rings and rolling elements can adopt GCr15 or SUS440C material.Cage options include brass,Nylon 66 and stamped steel.Multiple sealing solutions are available.Open type needs regular external lubrication and fits clean heavy-load medium-low speed working conditions.Contact rubber seals 2RS or ZZ deliver dustproof and splash-proof performance for dusty humid industrial sites.Non-contact seals Z or RS produce low friction and suit medium-high speed operation.

High load carrying capacity
Double row tapered roller bearings are suitable for heavy radial and axial loads.The axial load carrying capacity of tapered roller bearings increases with increasing contact angle α.The size of the contact angle,which is usually between 10° and 30°,is related to the calculation factor e (from the product tables):the larger the value of e,the larger the contact angle.

Optimized surface finish on the contact surfaces of the rollers and raceways supports the formation of a hydrodynamic lubricant film.
