A thin section bearing is a high-precision ball bearing with a significantly smaller cross-section (width/thickness) relative to its large bore diameter, allowing for compact, lightweight designs in space-constrained applications like robotics, aerospace, and medical devices where standard bearings are too bulky. They maintain performance with constant cross-sections across various bore sizes, offering high accuracy, low torque, and good load capacity for their size, available in radial, angular contact, and four-point contact types.

The selection depends on equipment space margin and weight constraints.
It is suitable for scenarios with strict requirements on installation space and weight, such as collaborative robot joints, medical imaging equipment, UAV gimbals, and micro CNC rotary tables. The minimum 1.5 mm cross-section can be embedded into compact structures.
Usually 6-10 weeks. Specifically, it needs to be determined according to the processing difficulty of ultra-thin sizes, material supply and production schedule. Urgent production services are supported to meet the needs of emergency projects.
For corrosive environments, SUS440C stainless steel material + UU/U seal + corrosion-resistant grease should be selected; for high-temperature environments, GCr15 material + high-temperature special grease should be selected, which can stably adapt to ≤120°C working temperature, and can be extended to 150°C with special customization.
