Description

This ensures radial load-bearing capacity while also providing bidirectional axial load-bearing capability. The double-row model employs a double-row symmetrical steel ball layout, forming a dual-load-bearing structure that significantly enhances radial load-bearing capacity and anti-overturning moment performance. An integral inner and outer ring structure strengthens rigidity and reduces accumulated assembly errors. The raceway undergoes ultra-precision grinding (Ra≤0.02μm), optimizing the point contact between the steel balls and the raceway to balance load-bearing capacity and friction loss, achieving low noise, low temperature rise, and high-speed operation. The cage guides the orderly movement of the steel balls, avoiding frictional interference between rolling elements and improving smoothness and service life at high speeds. Performance Characteristics: Core Advantage in Radial Load Bearing: The optimized deep-groove design increases the radial load-bearing capacity of the double-row model by 1.8-2.5 times compared to the single-row model, making it suitable for most common industrial applications where radial loads are the primary load. High-speed, low-noise performance: Optimized raceway and steel ball fit precision, low-friction cage design, single-row models with grease lubrication can reach a maximum speed of 20,000 rpm, and oil lubrication up to 35,000 rpm; the noise level of precision-grade products can be controlled below 20dB, meeting the low-noise requirements of high-end home appliances and precision motors. Ball Arrangement and Load Distribution: High-precision steel balls are evenly distributed along the arc-shaped deep groove. The cage guides the rolling elements in orderly circular motion, avoiding friction and collisions between the balls. Radial loads are evenly transferred to the inner and outer rings through point contact between the steel balls and the raceway, with the load evenly distributed along the circumference of the steel balls to avoid localized stress concentration. Axial loads are achieved through bidirectional bearing via contact between the raceway sides and the steel balls, capable of withstanding axial forces in both directions. The simultaneous bearing of radial loads, bidirectional axial loads, and overturning moments by double rows of symmetrical steel balls significantly improves load-bearing capacity and operational stability. They are often used in industrial machinery, electric motors, and automotive components.
Single-row models have the simplest structure, strong interchangeability, better high-speed performance and lower cost, which are the first choice for most general working conditions. Double-row models have 1.8-2.5 times the radial load capacity of single-row models of the same size, can withstand greater bidirectional axial loads and overturning moments, have a more compact structure, and are suitable for complex working conditions with heavy loads, limited space and overturning moments. The selection depends on the installation space, load size, speed requirements and working condition complexity.
They can bear a moderate amount of bidirectional axial loads, and their axial load capacity is about 20%-30% of the radial load capacity, depending on the contact angle and raceway curvature design. Excessive axial load will lead to a sharp increase in the contact stress between the raceway and the steel balls, greatly shortening the service life of the bearing. Therefore, it is not recommended for scenarios dominated by axial loads, and angular contact ball bearings or thrust bearings should be preferred for such scenarios.
