A Precision Tapered Roller Bearing (TRB) is a high-accuracy bearing with tapered rollers and races, designed to handle significant radial and axial (thrust) loads simultaneously, offering superior rigidity, low friction, and precise shaft guidance for demanding applications like vehicle wheels, gearboxes, and heavy machinery. "Precision" denotes enhanced manufacturing for tighter tolerances, reduced runout (sometimes below a micron), and optimized performance, often with matched components for adjustable preloading and longer life.

Raceways undergo precision grinding + super-finishing (Ra≤0.02μm), and roller end faces are optimized to reduce friction loss and temperature rise, adapting to medium-high speed precision operation; reinforced material and structural design enhance deformation resistance, ensuring micron-level positioning accuracy. Working Principle:Roller Arrangement and Load Distribution: Precision tapered rollers are precisely matched with the raceway cone angle, and the extended lines of the contact points accurately intersect at the bearing axis, forming a stable load transfer path. Radial load is evenly transmitted through the line contact between the rollers and the raceway, and axial load is efficiently transmitted to the inner and outer rings through the conical surface decomposition; the symmetrical roller arrangement of the double-row model further distributes the load, and the micro-self-aligning function is achieved through the slight sliding of the rollers along the spherical raceway, compensating for slight installation eccentricity; the cage guides the rollers for orderly and smooth movement, reducing friction interference and vibration, and ensuring precise operational stability. - Thermal Management: Ultra-fine polishing of the raceway and rollers + low-friction cage design reduces friction loss and effectively controls the operating temperature rise (typical temperature rise ≤ 12°C); coupled with the thermal stability of precision special grease or circulating oil, it ensures the thermal stability of the equipment under medium-high speed and precision working conditions. Precision models focus on P4/P5-class ultra-high precision (radial runout ≤0.003 mm) with super-finished raceways, adapting to precision equipment; ordinary models have P0/P6-class precision, focusing on general heavy-load scenarios. The selection depends on the equipment's positioning accuracy requirements.
Single-row models can only bear unidirectional axial loads. Paired installation (face-to-face/back-to-back) can form bidirectional axial positioning, while improving system rigidity and operational stability, meeting the bidirectional positioning requirements of precision equipment.
Usually 6-10 weeks for single-row and 8-14 weeks for double-row. Specifically, it needs to be determined according to precision class, size complexity, material supply and production schedule. Urgent production services for precision equipment emergency projects are supported.
For high-temperature environments, GCr15SiMn material + high-temperature precision dedicated grease (adapted to ≤150°C) should be selected, combined with open or non-contact seals; for corrosive environments, SUS440C stainless steel material + corrosion-resistant precision grease should be selected to ensure service life and stability under precision working conditions.
